Q: Do you provide yellow fever vaccine with the certificate?
A: Yes, our travel clinics do provide the yellow fever vaccine certificate after providing the vaccinations
Regarding inquiries about a YF waiver for individuals who cannot get the YF vaccine as some countries require it for a visa application or they will require it upon arrival, which is mandatory, just like the example below.
Certain individuals (for example, egg allergies, immunocompromised, Thymoma, etc... ) who cannot get the YF vaccine due to safety reasons can receive a YF contraindication booklet as a waiver for entry into the country. Our nurses can provide the contraindication booklet as long as:
The patient has a true contraindication for receiving a YF vaccination, not because they do not want to get it or they are scared of the side effects or they have had the vaccine but cannot find their card.
We do charge a $50 fee for producing the document. What we should do is book a YF vaccine appointment, and put down the medical condition(s) that make them vulnerable to the YF vaccination (contraindication) on the intake form. Once they go to their appointment, they let the nurse know and the nurse will provide them with a contraindication booklet as long as it is documented on their intake form.
